At the beginning of May, we made a road trip to California for a Triathlon!

| Mike & Cathy were nice enough to let us bring the dogs to their house! They LOVED the huge yard to run around in. I have never seen them soooo worn out from playing all day. |

They even helped chase out deer! Rue was such a hoot. She would chase the deer, corner it and then just start HOWLING at the top of her lungs so we could find it. She eventually ran it right out of the yard!
Overall, the triathlon was really really hard. (and I didn't even do the full thing!) Zach, Cory, and Mike did the whole thing, while Ashley, Cathy and I split up the events and did a relay.

I ended up vomitting a lot after my half marathon (I guess that's what happens when you don't train! haha!), Zach did AWESOME and finished 50th place in his group, and our relay team DIDN'T come in last place!! Wooooohooo!It was still a really fun experience. I'm so lucky to have married into such an adventurous family ;)
Word on the street is that everyone in the group wants to do another triathlon relay soon....LOL!
